Trance Healing Workshop

Join us on a journey of discovery!!!!!!
Healing is an act of service, a service to God
and to people here who are in need. This
workshop is about learning how to access the
healing power and meet those needs, learning how
to serve. Trance techniques will enhance your
healing and make a significant difference to the
effect the spirit world can have on those in
need of healing. This workshop is for all
students, from absolute beginner to professional
medium. The aim is to bring you into a closer
relationship with the spirit healers. The course
will include tutorials, tutor demonstration, and
group sessions. Group sessions are designed
to give you hands-on experience, not just
listening but doing!!! Minister Simone Key
is one of Europe’s top mediums and healers. She
is a celebrated tutor at the prestigious Arthur
Findlay College, in England.

October 5—John Drinkard will lead us in a Shamanic Journey. Come join us in a Shamanic Journey Circle as we ride our drums into the Otherworld. Connect with your Guides and helping Spirits for healing, knowledge or divination. Bring a blanket, pillow, blindfold and notebook for the Journey. If you have drums or rattles, bring them. They are not required.

Healing Certification

Instructors: Terrence Mulligan & Karen Slember
This intensive twelve week training class is a
requirement for students in the ISD Ministerial Program but is also open
to everyone wishing to serve as a Healer during Sunday Service or at our
Wednesday Evening Healing Circle.
Attendance at all twelve sessions of this class are
required for certification.
The ability to heal is universally held by all. This course
is designed to prepare you to use techniques that channel the cosmic energy
which constantly flows through the universe. Using a variety of approaches
including laying-on-of-hands, distance healing, and self-healing, the
instructors will provide you with many opportunities to experience channeling
God’s energies to heal the auric fields, chakra system, and physical bodies.
This twelve week block of classes is designed to provide lots of practice,
practice, practice - on real people, plus lectures on healing theory, leading to
ISD Healing Certification.
Members of Sparta ISD, who have a Sparta ISD Healing
Certificate may attend this series of classes as a refresher without additional
donation.

When someone asks you what
it means to be a “metaphysician” how do you respond?
Apologetics is the effort
to show that a preferred faith is not irrational, that believing in it is not
against human reason, and that in fact it contains values and promotes ways of
life more in accord with human nature than other faiths or beliefs.
This class will cover the
history of metaphysical thought, mysticism and spiritualism, and how these
concepts have evolved into both pure and applied metaphysics.
This is a
ministerial preparation class, but all are welcome—and encouraged—to attend!

A Course in Miracles

Discover A Course in Miracles from a metaphysical viewpoint!
A Course in Miracles is comprised of a Text, Workbook for Students and Manual for Teachers. It is, and is meant to be, a self-study course. However, these introductory classes will not be given as a typical spiritual seminar presented by a lecturer. Rather, an overview of the Course will be presented and the highlights (Karma, The Ego, Judging Others, FORGIVENESS, Enlightenment, True Prayer and Love) will be discussed in a group format so that everyone can participate whether or not you have done the Course or are even planning to do so. The metaphysical aspects will, of course, be stressed.
A Course in Miracles is actually a spiritual path leading to God. As such, it is a process that takes spiritual discipline, time and work. However, it will produce positive results in your individual spirituality no matter what your religious beliefs or background. The most important part of these introductory classes isn’t discovering what the Course means—it is rather about applying the metaphysical aspects of the Course to your life.
